“Wejhaty” is a free app provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist all Bahraini citizens planning on traveling, living or studying abroad.
The app provides several services allows users to register their travels and update their contact details enabling the concerned authorities to communicate with them in case of emergency during their travel in case of natural disaster, civil unrest or emergency evacuation. moreover, It also allows citizens to upload their official documents they might require during their travels in case they need it.

It only takes a few minutes to register your contact details and travel plans. You will need to register an “eKey” and nationality authentication will be done based on the “eKey” and Personal Number from Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA).

Protecting your well-being and public health in the Kingdom is a top priority. All passengers arriving in Bahrain must undergo a series of PCR tests. The first takes place on arrival and the second 7-10 days later.
Citizens planning to travel abroad must comply with entry procedures and requirements at their destinations. They must sign a declaration form prior to departure, agreeing to bear any medical costs while abroad, as well as mandatory COVID-19 testing once they return.
In line with health and safety measures, access to Bahrain International Airport is restricted to passengers and staff during the pandemic, although exceptions will be made for those accompanying passengers with reduced mobility or unaccompanied minors.
Temperature screening is mandatory at entry points to the terminal and before boarding, and anyone with a high fever will be subject to a secondary medical assessment. To allow time for additional screening procedures, please arrive at the airport at least three hours before your departure times.
