These integrated solutions covering permits, landing/overflight permissions, managing flight schedules digitally, and meteorological services.

Modernizing Civil Aviation Through eGovernance
Bahrain’s aviation eServices are a testament to the government’s ongoing dedication to delivering efficient, transparent, and user-centric public services. Bahrain’s CAA serves as the governing body for regulating all aspects of civil aviation within the Kingdom. It issues directives on air transport, airworthiness, and air navigation, and ensures compliance with national aviation laws, and international regulations and standards. The CAA is also responsible for issuing licenses, permits, aircraft registration, and operational certifications. Additionally, it oversees airline schedules and provides essential meteorological services including weather reports, forecasts, and aviation and marine alerts

Aeronautical Management System
At the core of Bahrain’s aviation digitalization is a centralized portal for managing air operator licenses, pilot certifications, airworthiness documentation, and inspection workflows. This digital system  eliminated manual paperwork, reduced processing time, and enhanced data integrity, creating a secure and seamless regulatory environment.

Al Nawras Flight Permission System
This advanced electronic gateway provides airlines and private operators with a unified platform to manage landing, overflight, and special flight permissions. With the Al Nawras system, operators can efficiently submit requests, track approvals and schedule time slots in real time, supporting operational efficiency and transparency.

Bahrain Aeronautical Information Service (AIS)
The AIM platform delivers convenient access to Bahrain’s electronic Aeronautical Information Publication (eAIP), NOTAMs, flight planning tools, and pre-flight briefings. This portal directly supports safe, efficient, and precise air navigation services.

Bahrain Meteorological eServices
Serving as a critical resource for aviation safety, the meteorological eServices platform enables users to obtain online aviation weather forecasts, radar imagery, real-time observations, and timely alerts from the Directorate of Meteorology. These services contribute to risk reduction and informed decision-making for every flight operation.

Airport Personnel Management System (APMS)
The APMS is an advanced digital solution to manage airport permits for ground staff, aviation professionals, and airport personnel requiring access to Bahrain International Airport. This system ensures that all operational personnel meet regulatory requirements, supporting transparent authorization and ongoing compliance.

Driving SDG 9 Through Aviation Innovation
Bahrain’s civil aviation has taken serious strides towards strengthening airspace governance, enhancing aviation safety, and promoting operational excellence. By establishing a clear path for aviation digital visibility, Bahrain is effectively taking governance to the skies and fulfilling the objectives of SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
