Excellent Government Employee Program in Customer Service

Driving Excellence in Public Service for a Better Bahrain

The Committee for the Evaluation of Government Service Centers (Taqyeem) has launched the Excellent Government Employee Program in Customer Service. The initiative is dedicated to measuring customer satisfaction with the performance of public service providers through a survey that captures the their experiences after their use of a service.

The program aims to improve government services and the performance of the public sector by unifying service delivery standards in accordance with the Customer Experience Evaluation at Government Service Centres Booklet 2025 (PDF, 14.2 MB, 69 pages, Arabic only). It seeks to enhance customer experience, raise satisfaction levels, promote competitiveness among customer service employees, and motivate them to improve performance and achieve excellence. The program is part of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening transparency in service delivery, improving government performance across both physical and virtual service centers, and raising the efficiency and quality of services and customer satisfaction.

The program also seeks to reinforce a culture of customer service among government employees and encourage creativity and competitiveness by highlighting outstanding models in service delivery and effective, positive engagement with customers and other beneficiaries of government services.

How It Works

  • A short survey to measure customer satisfaction is sent to the customer via WhatsApp immediately after completing the service at the customer service center.
  • The customer responds to the short survey.
  • A real-time data dashboard is launched within the government entity.
  • The performance of employees, services, and entities is monitored.
