Inclusive Policies and Strategies

The Kingdom of Bahrain policies and strategies include programs to support citizens inclusion. The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) launched a program based on the need for educating citizens on computer knowledge, and this was part of its eGovernment National Strategy.

Bahrain’s eParticipation policy supports inclusiveness by improving the terms of participation in the society for people who are disadvantaged on the basis of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, or economic or other status, through enhanced opportunities, access to resources, voice, and respect for rights.
