The Ministry of Education organizes 14 summer clubs distributed among all the Kingdom’s governorates of the Kingdom, benefiting more than 5,000 students. These activities keep youngsters busy during the summer months, helping them to nurture their talents and skills. Students with special needs are also welcome.
Summer clubs offer innovative programs, such as creative thinking courses, which include modern intelligence games which equip students with simple problem-solving abilities and enhance their communication, planning, and leadership skills. This is in addition to sports such as football, Taekwondo, gymnastics, and technical and computer activities, English language lessons, and various field trips.
Youth City 2030 is a multi-skill development initiative by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs. The annual summer program promotes innovation and creativity through workshops and hands-on training in fields such as leadership, media, Information Technology (IT), arts, languages, sciences, and sports.
The Students’ Activities Department at the University of Bahrain (UoB) helps students develop character by exploring their own abilities through the use of various tools. The department achieves its goals through four divisions: Cultural and Social Activities Division, the Sports and Tour Activities Division, the Student Organizations Division, and the Artistic Activities Division.
