Cabinet
The Cabinet constitutes the executive authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pursuant to Article 33(c) of the 2002 Constitution. His Majesty the King appoints the Prime Minister and may relieve the Prime Minister by Royal Decree. His Majesty also appoints and may dismiss ministers by Royal Decree.
The Cabinet safeguards the interests of the State, formulates the Government’s general policies, oversees their implementation, and supervises the functioning of the Government apparatus. Each minister is responsible for the affairs of their respective ministry. They execute the Government’s general policies within their ministries, establish ministerial directions, and ensure their implementation.
