Digital First Policy
This policy aims to facilitate the provision of all government services digitally so that digital services are preferred over traditional non-digital services provided by the Government of Bahrain. The policy aims to increase innovation and improve operational compatibility and internal integration between digital public services; In addition to reducing the level of complexity in terms of accessing and benefiting from services and reducing cases of redundancy and duplication. Under this policy; Government entities must design public services digitally first and then offer them through other channels for those who are unable to use digital services.
Digital Government as a Right
The main purpose of this policy is to create the appropriate environment for the public sector by enabling it to operate efficiently in this digital age. Developing a strategy for digital government that stipulates practical steps for disseminating digital technologies for a more open, transparent and innovative foundations, strengthening the framework for digital governance and building institutional, legal and human capacities to provide digital services that meet the needs and expectations of the public.
Once Only Data Policy
This policy aims to increase efficiency and reduce administrative burdens between government agencies and the public, and enable means of communication at the level of government agencies while protecting personal information at the same time.
