    This decision specifies the vaccinations approved in the Kingdom of Bahrain, their requirements, the methods of storage and other related information, and gives the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) the authority to perform monitoring and inspection activities.
  • Law No. (34) of 2018 (PDF, 236KB, 41 pages, Arabic only) promulgating the Public Health Law.
    This law covers all public health services for individuals, precautionary measures to safeguard infrastructure, water monitoring, and waste management. It also includes precautionary measures for communicable and noncommunicable diseases and food control.
  • Resolution No. (40) of 2016 (PDF, 92.6KB, 2 pages, Arabic only) regarding the validity period of licenses for practitioners of health and the conditions for their renewal.
    This decision specifies the one year validity period of licenses for practitioners of health, renewable to a maximum of five years, following payment of the determined fees and the submission of evidence that the ruquired professional education hours have been completed.
  • Law No. (25) of 2009 (PDF, 175KB, 14 pages, Arabic only) approving the accession of the Kingdom of Bahrain to International Labor Organisation Convention No. (155) of 1981 in relation to occupational safety, health, and the work environment.
    This agreement seeks to prevent accidents and damages arising from, related to, or occurring during, work by minimising risks as much as possible.
  • Decision of the Minister of Health No. (5) of 2021 (PDF, 95.2KB, 1 page, Arabic only) to postpone the date of implementation of Resolution No. (15) of 2020 regarding the organisation of periodic medical examinations for workers in industrial and commercial establishments related to public health.
    The decision postponed the effective date of Resolution No. (15) of 2020 regarding the organisation of periodic medical examinations for workers in industrial and commercial establishments related to public health until June 1, 2021.
