Execution Courts

Execution courts are bodies entrusted with the implementation of judgments and documentation that have the power of executive authority. They comprise several directorates, each specialised in certain types of execution requests and headed by a judge, as determined by the Supreme Judicial Council (Arabic only).

Execution courts are responsible for enforcing rulings issued by different types of courts (civil and Sharia), executing verdicts appended to an order in accordance with the arbitration system, rulings issued in a foreign country, and implementing contracts and documents that have the power of executive authority.
