People with Disability
- Decree No. (17) of 1999 (PDF, 161KB, 4 pages, Arabic only) approving accession to the International Labor Convention No. 159 of 1983 regarding Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Disabled Persons).
The decree included approval of accession to International Labor Convention No. (159) of 1983 regarding vocational rehabilitation and employment (disabled persons). - Law No. (22) of 2011 (PDF, 4.62MB, 81 pages, Arabic only) ratifying the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The Convention is about protecting full human rights of persons with disabilities and ensuring their full equality under the law. - Law No. (37) of 2012 (PDF, 225KB, 17 pages, Arabic only) promulgating the Child Law.
The law includes provisions related to children's right to health, food, social care, education and alternative care, the right of a disabled child to care, rehabilitation, and education.
