Notary Directorate
The Notary Directorate specialises in attesting documents, whether required by law or requested by relevant parties. It also specialises in certifying the signatures of parties at their request, confirming the date of legal documents, documenting and ratifying all declarations in accordance with the law, and setting documents in their proper legal formats. Notary services are provided by the Notary Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs & Endowments. Notary services can also be obtained through private notaries licensed by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs & Endowments.
The Private Notary system allows transactions to be carried out during and after official working hours through the offices of private notaries, located across the Kingdom. It also enables advance booking of appointments through direct communication with accredited notaries, whose details are available through a directory on the Ministry’s website, as well as through the Notary Services section on the National Portal.
