How Tawasul has touched people’s lives!

"Tawasul" system was developed as a practical tool to swiftly resolve humanitarian and social issues among citizens, in an easy and accessible way.

The Tawasul application has significantly impacted people's lives and played a crucial role in elevating the quality standards of government services. It serves as a complementary system to the open-door policy adopted by the Bahraini government, providing smartphone-compatible features for enhanced accessibility.

Here are some of the most notable stories and challenges and how they were solved:

 

A Bahraini citizen managed to obtain the necessary medication for his father, who suffers from kidney failure, after it ran out in hospitals and pharmacies. This was achieved through his communication with the relevant authority via the Tawasul system.

 

A Bahraini citizen working as a financial supervisor in a sports club recovered his dues after experiencing delays from the club's management in payment. The concerned authority overcame the difficulties and returned the owed amounts to him.

 

A Bahraini citizen obtained the required approvals regarding a previous application she submitted for the "Khatwa" program, which serves as an umbrella for home-based businesses, after waiting for a long time to receive a response from the concerned entity. This was achieved with support from the complaint follow-up team in the Tawasul system.

 

A retired Bahraini citizen managed to retrieve his Financial Support allowance, which was cut off when he decided to start his own business and open a food truck, despite being entitled to it. Once he raised the issue in the Tawasul system, the relevant authorities coordinated and took necessary actions to return his Financial Support allowance.

 

A Bahraini citizen succeeded in retrieving the insurance amount for the apartment where he lived with his family after moving to another residence. He received appropriate support to easily retrieve the amount by communicating with the relevant authority through the Tawasul application.

 

A Bahraini citizen obtained an equivalency certificate for her bachelor's degree that she obtained 20 years ago after a long wait. When she decided to raise her problem through the Tawasul application, she was contacted within a short period of time to resolve her issue.

 

“Al-Tajir”, a single app for every business need!

In response to the large volume of feedback received regarding the complex and time-consuming processes involved in commercial registrations, including payment procedures, the Information & Government Authority took a significant step by introducing "Al-Tajir". This pioneering mobile application is the first of its kind in Bahrain, offering comprehensive eServices specifically designed for business owners.

With Al-Tajir, business owners can conveniently pay all bills related to their commercial registration in a single transaction, saving valuable time and effort. Moreover, the application provides a wide range of additional features and services that greatly benefit business owners.

Users can also access tender services through the application, enterprise support services, and various other valuable features, all conveniently through a single application.

You asked, we delivered.. “BeAware”!

In response to suggestions received through Tawasul, and in line with its commitment to implementing esteemed government directives, the Information & eGovernment Authority updated BeAware to be the official app for personal and governmental documents.

Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, the BeAware app stands as one of the nation's most remarkable digital transformation initiatives, leveraging the power of artificial intelligence.

Building upon this foundation, the new version of the application introduces a dedicated wallet for digital government documents, including identity cards, passports, birth certificates, driver's licenses, and vehicle ownership documents (My Cards). The app also has a health appointments feature, which includes information about each individuals Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination history, as well as additional features individuals can use on a daily basis.

The Business Advisor Tool: A Simple and Effective Way to Start a Business in Bahrain

The Ministry of Industry & Commerce (MOIC) in Bahrain recognized the overwhelming amount of information provided in the Sijilat system for commercial registration and business licensing, making it difficult for investors and business owners to absorb. 

In response, MOIC and the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) collaborated to create the Business Advisor tool, taking feedback from Sijilat users, and involving entrepreneurs in the process.

Since its launch in 2023, the Business Advisor tool has been a huge success, helping entrepreneurs to start their businesses in Bahrain. It has saved them time and effort and helped them to avoid making costly mistakes.

The Business Advisor tool is a valuable resource for entrepreneurs who are thinking about starting a business in Bahrain. It is easy to use, informative, and can save you a significant amount of time and effort.

This online tool simplifies the planning process for starting a business by asking a series of questions in order to estimate fees and required steps, and providing information on regulatory requirements, licensing procedures, and additional resources necessary for success.
